Annoyed With Multiplayer and Maps
So don't get me wrong, I like Fatal Bullet, and it's keeping me entertained along with all the other SAO games, but there's something that's been bothering me for a while. Me and a friend were trying to do Online Multiplayer, and we end up in different rooms with a whole bunch of NPCs in our party. Not saying it's "bad" but I haven't got a clue what it's trying to do.

Thing is I can hear my friend in a separate boss dungeon fighting. It's been awhile since I last tried multiplayer but what the heck? Also, the map feels a bit cramped. I realize they got a whole bunch of factors to calculate in so whining isn't what I'm trying to do. However, it really feels annoying to realize you got a map to explore but enemies spawn everywhere.

I realize SAO games need to keep a format and that's fine, but to be honest even RE:Hollow Fragment had a better multiplayer system at this rate.

Anyways that's my rant, doubt anyone will notice or agree but that's my free 2 cents.

Never touched the Multiplayer, too many people using hacks or something. Just look at the rankings. :/

I played the multiplayer way before that, so I wouldn't know, although seriously?!
...That's great.

I think it was a bug and you got separated from your party because i also had this problem.

Sometimes you will spawn right next to the boss room or at randoms location on the map, it's annoying but nothing we can do beside asking for the fix from the Developers but they may not listen to us.

You can run dungeons with friends on Hardcore Quests without getting the problem but they are incredibly short and boring.

All they should've done is to copy paste a whole dungeons with increased lvl enemies or add in more of them/replace to online multiplayer. That'd sound at least better to me.

Yes. A lot of 'OP main characters' in Co-op.

Yeah, that does sound better, I didn't try the Hardcore Quests though. To be honest, I thought the main selling point of GGO was a huge explorable wasteland. Wouldn't it make more sense to make it sort of an MMO type of ordeal?

Yes, but they don't want to/ don't have enough money given to do it.

well, tbh this game isn't meant to be played with constant ranked matchmaking style which were adopted by most famous game with it like PUBG, Dota 2 etc. even if they wanna make it like that they must create more equipment to adapt it nicely and a contant month or more maintenance time fee's for servers and more of it. even if they tried they must create an ingame item which were purchaseable with money and a lot of it so more player wanna play it and buy it.

Yeah I suppose you make a valid point, for instance I completely forgot that you'd need money to run servers. I'm just trying to say there were so many key selling points the anime had that didn't transfer over to any of the games. For instance Hollow Realization and even Lost Song had MMO elements. If they took something like RE:Hollow Fragment's multiplayer shop-hub and expanded it into the SBC Glocken, they could keep the same format as the maps now as they were almost open world. Although I guess all of this is a mute-point now as the game is released the way it is.

Huge server cost with full time staffs for mantenance as well with balanced economy in order to make it a fine MMO but now there are Hackers so this will be only in my dreams.

But what if they made it similar to RE:Hollow Fragment? They seem to manage the online play quite well there.

I've never played it before. How well managed?

Graphic quality also had an impact on multiplayer smoothness, even with good code for an AAA+ title without an proper server on it tends to be laggy.
Hollow Fragment had a lower graphics quality and thus lower work for loading and more, that is why it could do well than FB.

as for hacker, each of online game would have one or more. what is their reason to use hack or cheat is many. one wanna win easily, one wanna trolling and more of it, yes most on ranking were a cheater who want to be famous and more of it. and tbh i don't care if one cheating or no i just want a play for fun, also one thing on PVP mode there are already rule for it so the play would be fair on avatar mode.

Yes. It will forever be a dream to have a game where there're no rulebreakers.

So.

Better have fun with it i guess...

Do you think they'll have similar problems when they release the next SAO game?
