Some gun don't have their predecessors like the Miasma Claw (Rank 3), AMR Assassin (Rank4)... . DLC 2 has lvl 100+ bosses on normal/ easy so lower than rank 6 will not suffice to beat them.
If you bought the complete edition, DLC 4 adds offline hero quests that give you rank 6,7 version of pretty much all of the weapons that normally can only be obtained in their DLC dungeons.
I'm confused, if that ain't a predecessor then shouldn't you be saying Miasma Claw Mk. II/AMR Assassin Mk. II?
I have the complete edition and some parts of DLC is activated which is confusing.
Someone really needs to make a DLC guide on this game.
No, because they'll have different name at higher ranks. Miasma Claw at rank 6 will be Miasma Fang then to Miasma Edge, AMR Assassin at Rank 7 will be AMR Deathwind then to AMR Grim Reaper.
Yeah, i'm also confused.
I'm at DLC 2 and I couldn't kill Shirley and Clarence in normal mode (aka not in extreme mode) since I'm just stuck with a Rank 6 Weapon that's fully upgraded (max chips and enhancement level). Not even a legendary weapon could damage them enough without wasting 1,000 bullets on them.
My only option is to go Extreme Mode when doing DLC? I heard going Extreme Mode will increase the enemies level then so does that mean Shirley and Clarence are going to get buffed up? What changes will they be in Extreme Mode?
Just create a lobby and search in the normal mission which one gives the material you need. All you'll have to do then is to killl the boss to get the reward.
Even if no other player join, since it's a normal mission, you'll have 7 of your NPCs (6 + your arfa-sys) with you.
Make sure to select the best of them (those you gave chips to) while in the lobby, before starting the mission.
In extreme mode, all ennemies get their level increased. If you cant beat them in normal, they'll probably wipe you in seconds in extreme mode....
Yes I'm aware of that but I'm asking about the DLC dungeons and this to be specific:
There's no quest that drops Flight Reactor in co-op.. I just checked mine just now.
I've checked both Normal and Hardcore and there's none on my end so you could take my word for it. I believe you're talking about extreme mode..
Use AOE buffs like the Guard/ Power Field for your team and debuff enemies with Armor Break. Bringing supports like Asuna, Silica... cause AI friends won't doing any damage in this stage anyway (unless the mission force you into a party which i don't remember), you can also bring the Anti-AR Veli gadget and deploy it in the corner to ensure they can't shoot you from any angle.
You can try setting it to extreme and kill Some Assault Automations in the first room to get a rank 9 Robust.
For extrem mod, what I started with at the time where a breaktrough from DLC 1 (explosive shot spamming) that I used to farm ennemies in DLC 2.
Then got a moonlight from DLC 2 that I used to farm ennemies in the snowfields (with a critical build), was enough to get a few rank 11 weapons (SMG, sniper, launcher, handgun).
With those rank 11 weapons all you need is enough stats to carry them, then dump everything else into agility and vitality.
Though there's two important thing to do:
- Make sure to get rank 4 of all the debuffs (attack and defense), and so with their required stats, making you the main DPS/enginer.
- Teach all rank 4 buffs to your afra-sys (attack, defense, nanotech, critical form, single target AND group versions, so he/she will be able to rebuff somebody who got downed immediately after revival), making him/her your main support (a good reliable support in that game is a tank - very high AGI and VIT - with maxed INT, and equipped with a handgun and a shotgun for the faster animations). Fill his/her remaining skill slots with healing bullet and healing field.
You cant go trough extreme mod without those, and even less trough online co-op.
