It's not just this memory chip though. The balance of many things in this game would need to be changed as well if this was to change. But DIMP's has like never made a single patch to balance anything at all or properly. This entire game will always be a broken mess. But they rather add smaller things here and there, that may also be more broken than ever dare fix anything that's already been implemented...
As for this game they will probably stop working on it. Or add another one in the future possibly seperate from this one which might even be a cross over if we judge from previous entries. I doubt there will be more DLC's or patches after next expansion. I mean we already been through the season pass. And they don't really put in as much love into this game as the other developer Aquria.
As for the main Sword Art Online game entries. I bet we might see another one of these shooters in the same style from DIMPS again. But from hopefully someone else in the future... but I doubt it.
Because so far we got
"Hollow Fragment" and "Hollow Realization" from Aquaria
"Lost Song" and "Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight" from Artdink. I haven't played Accel World but I got a lot of enjoyment out of Lost Song when playing online back on PS4. But the game also without a doubt has huge balance issues and a lack of content. But I really did love the online and combat lot more than here.
And Fatal Bullet from DIMPS.
Now judging from this. It's like each developer is probably responsible for a certain style of games. DIMPS has also done Freedom Wars which is why this game looks just like a Sword Art reskin over it lol. They even have there own version of the UFG lmfao. Oh god seeing this is laughable and depressing... I guess some developers don't like trying new things and reuse the exact same stuff from games they made 4 f*cking years ago! It really makes me wonder why they didn't let sword users grapple with the UFG and attack weak spots of giant targets...
