Need advice, extreme mode underlvled
so as the title says my character is on extreme mode which i do enjoy but re making progress is a tad hard atm do to me being underlvled im at 68 and at the cave to head to next area but getting destroyed now i was going to ask what would be the best way to lvl up for where im at seeing as i dont think i can go back to normal mode or not to have access to the other areas. been waiting for all 3 dlc to be out before i do them so now im back. i was running a agi/dex/luc build i redid it so my luck was no longer my highest stat(was that way cus i was testing the luck to crit rate in my first playthrough with pistols.

You can change difficulty any time you want, but you need to go back to the main menu to do it. If you change off of Extreme, however, you'll lose your progress for the achievement. AFAIK you need to run through the entire game (not including DLC) in Extreme without changing it.

Not true

You can get the Extreme mode achievement even if you swap it lower mid game.
You just have to kill the final boss on Extreme mode and remember to be in extreme mode at certain points to unlock Liz's blacksmith level

You can do online co-op with some1 who will carry you. Personally I make "Beginners welcome" lobbies all the time and carry people of any level.
I personally tell people not to do EX mode unless you are level 75 after clearing normal mode, otherwise rewind time to "save a friend" and grind on those npc players.

Doing EX below 75 IS DO ABLE, just be prepared to die unless you're a freaking master at the game and know all enemy movements and can just dance around them.
Since you've already restarted I would suggest just going around and killing stuff in the first map as much as possible and doing ALL the sub/hunting missions you can until about lvl 80 or 85.

around this level you should be ok to fight in the cave and take a few runs to do it but should be able to do it.

and yes a great way to level now if online co-op since exp multipliers have been increased like crazy. this will help a lot at lower levels but i feel like it will drop off at around 180-190 all the way to max level.

anyways, Good luck and have fun! ^_^

To be fair, when the game first got released, the level cap was 125 to finish the game. Recommended start level for extreme will be 75-80. It is only the DLC that push beyond that said level, needing around 80-120 on normal.

Don't worry of being underleveled unless it's the DLC missions. You can take the final boss of the main game at level 120 even with subpar equipment
