Can't connect to Steam?

My game claims it can't connect to steam for some odd reason? Should I quit steam and reboot it. If that doesn't work any other reasons it could be happening?

The only reason it needs to is for cloud save and achievements so if you want to take advantage of those you will want to restart it, I would actually restart your pc and everything as sometimes it's just a hickup on your pc that causes this issue. I've had it occur with other games and a full system restart is what finally fixed it for me.

Edit: So oddly enough If i use my controller It wouldn't connect when it asks to hit a button, but if using keyboard it was fine. So just hit a key when it asks to hit a button.

The game is more optimized for keyboard and mouse instead of controller which is kind of funny with it being a port.

Oh and did you try logging out and then back into steam, it could fix it as well.
