I get the feeling that the hidden portal access is mostly random, but following the "take the left stair" ritual seemed to work for me most of the time.

Doesn't work for me.
Even when that one moster was instead two humanoids, that left door has never open for me.

Weird, because the big monster prompts the left door opening.

For a few times, it hepled once.

So: Extreme, left side. Doesn't matter, if the NPCs get to another side, as it seems.

If you are just farming them for the mats do it on easy so you don't have to spend as long clearing the path if the spawns don't go your way, you are still guranteed at least one and chances still on two more.

Yup, Honeycomb Maker seems to guarantee one drop and you have a high chance from the Apostle and some chance from the chest from my experience.

Hello guys, some edit :) After killing the "Enemy Caller" and the door opens, 2 Heavy Facsimiles spawn and it depends which one you kill first. When you kill the left first, first door will open, if you kill right first, the right will open! tested it multiple times and always worked for me.

I think that door opens for me, even if I do not kill any of those guys.

That's what I do as well but it's not 100% but I do get the left door more than the right so I think there is some kind of connection.

my own theory on which foes you get there is this, its dependent on weather you beat the 2 huminoid heavys in the room with caller, since one path opening you need to beat the same foes every time i beat 1 or more, i got honeymaker rout, if i didnt, i got regular
