Different swords also come with different pistols so you may want to also take that into account.
you can? because everytime i try it only puts a matching rarity with the gun.
No you can't. Every sword is stuck with the pistol it is assigned with. There is no changing it without changing the sword itself.
see thats what i thought lol
I tested it out.
Long Stroke alone against Long Stroke with Dainsleif Sword, the dmg was clearly different
yeah it just uses a basic version of the gun to that sword which really sucks
But like I said, I eventually got used to it. The only part of Gun and Sword I still don't like is that manual reloading is done with a keypress modifier, for which the detection seems pretty... buggy. Sometimes I have to press the reload key 3 or 4 times while holding right click before the game wakes up and goes "OH! You wanted to RELOAD!".
Other than that, using the Gun and Sword Art seems insanely buggy. I sit there and press V+T repeatedly and just keep firing my grapple gun at the enemy instead. Sometimes I give up and and switch to my Rocket Launcher to use it, for which the art always goes off on the first try...
when you do the gun and sword art, try aiming the pistol first then start it. Always seems to work for me that away
Hmm alright I'll try that, thanks! I did notice that using Middle Mouse seems to trigger it better than the T key, but I'll try aiming, too.
