you're the physical manifestation of aids

Increased my movement speed so I could outrun him better, then used the 2nd area's 1 way only ramp to lure him off the edge then grapple back up while my allies were set to prioritize healing so they wouldn't die. Beat him at like .... level 42? Was ... probably the only 'fun' boss fight.
Cirnostyle Mar 6, 2018 @ 5:18pm
Did it around 50 with knives and smg. Just circled around him when he attacked someone else, dodged towards him when he targeted me. Ignored the second set of adds.
For the extreme version, I did abuse the 3rd room's platforms, even though the constant stuns are annoying.

I read in your other thread that you get oneshot, some agi and/or vit would probably help a lot.

What about when he calls his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bumbuddy?
Reki Mar 6, 2018 @ 5:45pm
I personally, focused entirely on killing his spawns once they came, while letting my AI players deal with the boss where possible, otherwise it's just about training them as best as you can. If you can survive long enough to get to the 3rd room then like Cirnostyle said, you can abuse the high rise platforms to deal with spawns and boss easily enough. My method was simple run and gun with +20% movement speed, so I don't really have any 'tricks' to give you.

Used my teammates as decoys and sniped his horns with a Tiamat ++ abusing the ramp in the 2nd room. Flashbang is nice to have here.

I shall quote Sao abridged. "HIT IT TILL IT DIES!!!"

For both him and his summons, the horns are the weak point. Should be able to increase your DPS enough to kill him if you aim there. Also, figuring out how to dodge his charge is pretty useful too.
DUEL LMGS AND HORNSHOTS.. Thats the easy part.
Now... Drop his hp like you mad at it.. well because you are (we all are)
THEN!!! When first two mobs spawn kill them FIRST. lol
NEXT!!!! Drop his HP LIKE YOU MAD AT IT.. Well because you are (we all we're)
THEN!!! When 2nd group of mobs spawn you.... CLUTCH IT AND BURN THE REST OF ITS HP OUT!!!, and calmly dance around the mobs as they drop like uneven skipping stones...
^
As far as staying alive goes... proper heals from sht AI's will save you "sometimes" and if your dodge game isnt 2nd nature..well then you will be repeating this a 2nd time.. or more lol GL
Ps buy out the ammo store.. makes all that holding down the tigger you gonna be doing a whole lot easier lol

On Normal, I pretty much just relied on sniping with my deathwind while the AI keeps him busy, healing and reviving each other when needed. (I brought Asuna and my Arfasys along as healers, the other one I didn't put much thought in. I think had Itsuki.) When his buddies came out, I dual wield a procyon and kited them while the AI keeps Manhunter busy. Took some time, but I was never in any real danger.

On extreme, I was already running a sword build with hyper awareness and melee booster. Large bosses like manhunter are pretty easy to deal with on melee, because they don't have fast long range attacks and their melee attacks are easy to roll around/dash away from (most of the time you'll get a lot of hits in while under them, and they won't be able to hit you). The ones that do hit you are dodged by hyper awareness, and on the cases where you actually get hit, you have the AI heal or revive you (i set them to prioritize healing, and pretty much equip my arfasys with only healing skills and a graviton 3) I do the same when the delinquents appear - I kite them while the AI keeps manhunter busy.

It also helps that I have set the game to 30FPS. I find it easier to dodge stuff and the AI doesn't waste time rolling around my corpse when trying to heal me. They still get stuck and left behind on places that require the UFG, though. Have to manually tell them to rendezvous on my position before they use their hax teleport.

1. Shoot his horns to damage him more.
2. When the second room opens, agro him and kite him into it.
3. Shoot him at the end of the platform, on the opposite side of the ramp.
4. Fall off it, while still trying to get his attention to fall off.
5. Once he or his minions fall off the edge, use the UFG to go back on the platform.
7. Shoot him along the way as he has to walk all the way back up to the ramp to get to you.
8. Rinse and repeat steps 3-7.
9. Profit~! ^_^

I mean I just hugged the pillars in the first room on both extreme and normal...managed to solo it on extreme abusing life regen accessories and dual SMG's

I felt like a badass because I took care of him and his cronies in Normal mode in the one room and ignored the other rooms when the doors started opening because I thought the doors opening was going to a scripted "let's escape from this boss because we're too weak and come back later" and I was like "♥♥♥♥ THAT! I AIN'T GOING OUT LIKE NO ♥♥♥♥♥!". Only after beating the boss I saw the extra rooms and facepalmed hard because they would have helped with this boss immensely with all the ways you could go and block/evade them rather than the pillars of the first room.

In the end I dare not think about how bad this will be when I take it on in Extreme mode.
