I swear to god this stupid game. Okay, so I play as a boy, and thought to make my ArFA-sys a boy aswell because then we are like a really cool team and all, but now its forcing me to be gay with him! Like, it didnt give me the option to deny him, nor did it ever warn me of this. Just "BAM! Now youre gay so have fun!" Please tell me theres a way to fix this. Something. Anything.

If you don't like the way the story is told then go play something else instead of leaving negative comments like calling the game stupid 'cuz it offers same-sex romance. There's plenty of straight couple games out there aka 99% of all games, to satiate your first world privilege. Or you could show some decency and reword or just delete what you said in the OP.

The game in Japanese uses gender neutral words and neutral phrases, in the way that reffering to your self, Ays-fa or action is ambigous or androginous. Unfortunitly English and other langages that do not have gender neutral words or phrases when reffering to a person, one self or action. leads to set gender write ups. Sometimes giving the wrong impression to other languages. Like OP's situation.

Last time I checked, A.I. aren't born with a gender. You have to (in a kind of meta way) pick its appearance for it. It's an A.I. though, so, again, no actual gender.

I mean, beyond what it self-identifies as. But that's not something that happens instantly.
