HOW TO UNLOCK EXTREME MODE ? and other questions

it reset to lvl 1 when swith to extreme mode ?
is possible to get rank 7 weapons without the extreme mode ?

You should be able to switch to it via the main menu before logging back into the game in options (after beating the game) . You don't have to start all over again from extreme mode unless you want to play through the story again.

Extreme mode is easier to get rank 7 drops in but i believe they also come in regular mode.( Not to sure about that)
