Gun sounds weird or a bug?
So I been playing this game and i noticed that the guns (or at least the smg and shotgun iv been using) make almost no sound if you are shooting from far away but make more sound if your close to an enemy that your shooting. Now I get that impact sounds are a thing but the actual firing of the shot is lower as well. Also why is the inpact sound so much louder than the shot. Not a major problem but Im wondering if this is some kind of bug or if the game is just like that.

Having similar issues with all gun types, just seems gun sounds go away for some reason. Probably a bug they need to fix.

Yeah, there appears to be a bug currently where gun audio will either deafen somewhat or just outright stop. It comes back a few moments later, normally after you've stopped firing and fire again.. but its still annoying.

I've had this happen a bit as well. Though most of the time when i do notice it, it's when a battle is winding down because I pretty much have a lead finger, lol.

It is annoying how the sound effect from the weapons changes depending on the distance you are shooting at.

No solution I am aware of. Also at first I thought your avatar was Chars Zaku on the toilet but is just Space Marine.heh

I see I'm not the only one having this issue, its so immersion breaking tho, only temp solution I've managed to find is by tapping the shoot button instead of holding it, so the sound stay consistent. But it doesn't work well with all weapons sadly.

Same it cuts out sometimes, also the audio engineer didn't do a good job with the mix so the gun volume will get trumped by other effects.

Well, then we'll be hearing lots of "boku wa ku des" instead of actual gun sounds :(
