Wait so.... How many different guns are there?

Honest question. Ive seen 5 different pistol types and all of the videos Ive watched / streams Ive watched everyones been using the exact same basic starting rifles....

Im not asking for a BorderLands 2 amount of guns and stat differences but.. This is really disheartening for me.

The same gun =/= using the same model the entire time you play the game. I understand youll be using better stat versions of the same gun but its still going to be the same exact model.

Im talking about variety of models. Its not that hard of a concept to grasp.

Let me ask this as straight foward to you as possible; Do you think that its not stupid that there are only 5 different pistol types in thr game? Especially when the game costs 50 dollars and its a game solely based around guns?


And to your statement that noones beat the game so noone knows ho wmany guns there are; SEVERAL people have beaten the game already and one person didnt even know about the Long Stoke pistol. Im not blindly throwing accusations at a wall, I have done almost two hours of wiki searching and question asking and youtube video/streams watching to base my question off of.

They didn't want to pay out a few million in licensing fees to make a copy of every gun that gets a mention in the GGO arc of the anime. An arc that only shows a small number of different guns actually used.

Do I think it's stupid? No, I'm playing an RPG, I'm hardly bothered because most of the pistols look the same. I would kill for an M1911A1 that I could pair with a P99, but I'm not going to throw a fit about it.

That isn't to say that the game doesn't go nearly into as much about the intricacies of the GGO system as it could. There's no crafting skills you can take, you can't modify guns on your own, you can't really wear any armor, just different clothing.

It's not perfect, but it's hardly a big issue.

At least they have some of the most famous guns in the world, i am lvl 58 and i use the AMG Tiamat, the Sniper Sinon is using. I had 3 Snipers so far something like a Dragonov, MK14 and Barrett M82 the Tiamat i mentioned. There are also Fantasy like guns. And Japanese named guns I don't know. There are alot of guns i can't remember them all. But really just don't expect to much that game isn't really about guns its more about the story and combat. Which is why i still like to play, because its a fun shooter.

I will have to admit it's disapointing, but yeah they have to pay licensing fee's if they use real world weapons and their names. I'm still using the same epic AR at level 29 than I've been using since level 4, because nothing else "That's Better" drops. I have a feeling the drops are region and level based. Since I noticed the store terminal does add new weapons in it... after a set level etc.

But this isn't borderlands, maybe with the dlc's they will add more diversity. They probably kept things basic for now to see how well this game sells before going all out with more models and content.

deeper you will go in game, more weapon you will find. on starting you can see only 3 for each type, but later grade rise, new weapons. on 3 location pistols better then my AR from 1st location :D and new rocket launcher.. mmm..

It does not cost anything to make content. You dont have to pay to create your designed guns..

How do you think free to play games or really any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game out on the market for the past 20 years has been making the same M16A4 model without having to call it a M16. Or for a small example to help you understand, a lot of fun in Siege are based around 3 or 4 real life guns with seperate parts thrown together and they dotn have to pay a licensing fee for each gun.

Or in Halo where they take a real life gun and just twist and add ♥♥♥♥ to it. Or like car games where they change little differences liek width and what not.



My point is that copyrighting doesnt work like how you guys think it does. Its just a lack of well.. Making more ♥♥♥♥ for the game.

Yeah I know he meant models and I was talking about Model and stats. Since all I've seen AR wise in 10+ hours is 1 model. And that even the stats are disapointing.

They probably figured people would stick to one model and just keep enhancing and transforming it. Hence the limited models.

oh, hes trolling, dude we know you have said 5 pistosl, you dont have to spamm it. and as i said about 2-3 weapons types per ammo type, and theres about 12 of them. so about 24-36 weapons
