Just made a guide for this a few minutes ago :)

Also, to use a Dualshock 4 controller, launch Big Picture Mode, go into settings, make sure controller configurations are enabled and your Dualshock 4 is on the list of configurable controllers. When you launch the game, you'll be prompted to select a configuration. The default gamepad template will give you 1:1 controls with an Xbox controller.
I'm using the scp toolkit drivers, the game sees it as a xbox controller.
Fairly new PS4 controller, but the sensitivity on the sticks is horrible in this game (camera settings are now down to 15, aim is at 10, scope is at 5, and it still is a bit too sensitive/or I can't find the right balance). Might have to do some DS4Windows passthrough-like program to adjust.
TL;DR untick the PS4 support box in steam and it works... but it doesn't feel good
Thanks in advance.
Should you need it though, there's finally a mod[www.nexusmods.com] (alt)[www.nexusmods.com] that swaps the XBox for PS4 icons now, and then some.
Note: Needs Steam Input to be enabled; otherwise it'll display the numbers-only buttons.
Perhaps those having problems with Steam Input before can try to see if it works on their machine now.
