Controller vs Keyboard

would you rather play the game with a controller or with keyboard and mouse?

On this case kb+ mouse, gamepad is bearable but inferior for my tastes

I tried both. Typically I'd use a controller for this type of game but the combat is 3rd person FPS so KB/M suits it better for me. More precision.

Both work well from what I've tried though.

Imo m+kb works better. The controls are pretty well made and you get the advantage of being able aim properly, also using the rope gun in combat becomes a lot easier. Only thing lacking is the menus/UI being made for controller.

I can't aim for ♥♥♥♥ with a controller so I was happy to see the gameplay actually having mouse support.

This for me as well, only small drawback is no mousepointer for the menus.
And the skill layout in the UI is a bit weird, but this can be solved by keybindings.

yeah aiming isnt easy. I would love it if I could use a "half-controller" in the left hand and the mouse in the right.
