Treasure Hunt: For Your Eyes Only

I can't seem to find the missing diary for the level 10 Treasure Hunt Subquest. It should be located in the Extinct Civilization Research Lab, but I can't find it. Anyone know where it is?

That might be one that's inside that dungeon, and it's actually right beside one of the doors. So if you just go in and only look forward, you might miss it. Turn around and look at the doors when you pass through.

I think that's the one that confused me too, because there's a zone called that and a dungeon called that, so make sure you check the dungeon too.

Yep it's in the dungeon in a chest ontop of a large box, in the first room,

I looked there and opened the chest, however to no avail. The quest isn't saying that I found it.
