I can't say much without knowing your graphics card and the amount of ram you have, but you should be able to play it. I don't believe in the I7 requirment and if you run certain i7 games fine, then you should be able to run this fine.

What version of Core i5 is it? And what's your Graphics Card? You'll probably be fine as long as your CPU is at least 3.2GHz and you have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 600 series or newer

My pc can run HR with i3 1.7ghz and gtx 920m (2gb) so good with 30 solid fps, so yes you can run this game without any problem, they always put more requirements than needed.

...Tbh I don't think you really need i7 to play anything other then rts/rts-ish games or really really ai-intensive games.

I could be wrong, though :x

I plan to play this on i3-4330 / 8GB RAM / GTX960 and I'm confident that it will work fine.
Both AWvsSAO and SAO:HR "require" much more powerful CPUs, yet I run them at 1080p / 60fps

I think the i7 listed in minimum requirements is a mistake. Someone probably copy-pasted the recommended specs and edited them but forgot to change the CPU.

Since this is an Unreal Engine game it should be fine on an i3 from a few years ago, nevermind an i5. I'd be more concerned about running the game on a GTX 950, but all in all your system should be ok.

In most games there's not a big difference between an i5 and i7, so yes, should be basically the same experience.

I have a i5-7500 and a gtx 1070, there is pretty much no game out atm I can't get 60 fps in at 1080p. Its more based on your videocard. Also 4k is way overrated, you can make it look as good using downsampling (or is it called super sampling) it onto a 1080p screen. There are certan conditions for 4k to be worth using, and pretty much no game meets said condition.
