range is MEH (preferably sniper) soo... Crit Damage is hella useful if you go for luck build
also dont forget Physical Damage or Optical... are there optical grenade launchers?
The laevatein in the other hand has a terrible crit rate and is the GL with the lowest rpm, but it has a blazing effect that can be further enhanced with the debuff stacking chip. On this one I usually couple max HP damage with the debuff stacking chips instead of the two crit chips.
Not sure about the weak spot damage.... I use it but it isnt easy to hit the weak spot on all ennemies with a GL....
GL are exclusively explosives, it's Optical/rocket launchers that have composite damage between explosive and optical/physical.
Like most weapons, you can split GL in two categories, fast shooting with good crit rate, slow shooting with almost no crit rate.
First ones are meant to be used mainly by spamming normal attacks with buffing skills to increase their capabilities (reload speed for example), second ones are better at spaming damaging skill like plasma burst or graviton shot, in this case it's usually more efficient to stick with level 3 of those skills to reduce the CD (or abuse HG WA).
