Should I keep the treatises from the tutorial?
They seem to sell for a lot of gold... Even though I dont want to carry them around, I figure the gold gained from them might be worth it.

Everything in the tutorial, including the old man character, is lost after the tutorial is over. You get to pick from a list of characters and start over in a town.
