Report a translation problem
You might need to open up a console window, navigate to the right folder, and then type something like bfsunpack.exe data.bfs
It has been years since I have done that, though.
I also don't know if the mod manager will do any of that for you or not.
To navigate to your Flatout install in your console window, type
cd C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FlatOut
I forget if the mod's file name needs to go to the top or the bottom of the list.
I don't know if the new mod manager will do that for you.
I've been meaning to make mods for this again, but I've been slammed with other projects.
I'll get to it eventually. Adding cars is much easier than adding them to Wreckfest.
It doesn't give me an error message or smth like that. I assume it has something to do with the data.bfs file having a different format than the old one.
Fortunately, I have an older version of the game, with the game files unpacked. I can use that to make mods until I found a way to unpack the files from the newer version.
I used the bfs tool from the FlatOut Joint community, and it supports the newer versions.
