Updates?

Curious if there are plans to include new updated components and cases, my personal use for this game is to build existing PCs or new ones and use the game to configure IRL water cooling systems so adding different reservoirs would be useful

The developers already told us a long time ago: No more updates. This game will never be updated with any additional content ever again. This game is completely abandoned now. If you want new parts you must buy the new second game, PC Building Simulator 2 which is exclusive to Epic Games forever.

kinda sucks i got to fork out more money just to use modern parts

trying to configure multiple gpus in 1 case for a client without taking the job and then cant do it

The era of parts has nothing to do with gameplay in this game. It would be just as much fun to play if it used early 1990's / 2000's computer parts instead of the 2015'ish parts we start out with in this game. That doesn't effect anything. This current version of this game still has well over 100+ hours of gameplay even if never updated again.

You are never getting those in this game. This game is abandoned. This game will never receive any further content updates. Nothing new will ever be added to this game ever again. The new hardware you want is already in the second game. The second game is receiving updates currently. If you want to play with the newer hardware you must buy the second game.
