Suggestion: CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Drives

A number of cases have slots and front panel openings for drives, but there are no drives in the game. I know they're somewhat less relevant these days but there are still a few uses for them, for example the chain of jobs in which you're asked to give a PC a load of storage would be perfect for a "please fit a DVD-ROM drive" task.

well, there are some cases that even feature drive mounts, so it would add some flavour if it was possible to isntall a few drives into them.

just remembered a story when a friend when he was like 15 or sth thought it was funny to try and put a round slice of salami in his fther's pc's cd-drive.

Back in the days when i was working for a local computers store a client came and asked us to repair his Coffee holder. I actually had to ask him to come in the backstore and point to me what the hell he was talking about. Yep. He was using his CDROM drive as a coffee holder.

Such a novel idea. Surely no one else has ever asked for this before in all of the time PCBS has been on steam. Surely Cal used the steam search thing to look and see if this has been asked before making a new thread about it.

There's no need to clutter up the forums with more threads on the topic, it's already documented. The developers will get to it some day.

actually i would find it a hilarious easter egg if they included CDROM drives ect., and while they are building the new custom desk patch with a screenshot showing a coffee mug... if you could actually put the mug in the cddrive just for the lulz after reading your comment xD
