But in the other side, i understand that they shout because that game is a little bit greedy. For those who say that we play some "pirated song", you know that you can go on Youtube, make a playlist and listen to your favorite song without paying for them. That argument is stupid.
And yeah, i'm sorry but Beat Saber don't have enough content so mods are important for that game. Or, there is a simple solution, Beat Saber could do like Osu!, give the power to the player to create and put their own map and musics. That would be like a mod support but... They couldn't add songs in dlc pack and have the money of the person that already bought the game.
But for PSVR players, the PS4 don't allow custom content. The players must pay for DLC packs like that to have more songs (thx Sony).
The Monstercat pack was a really good release !
I won't buy this one anytime soon cause it's imagine dragons and i'm sick of earing their songs everywhere, but it's good for the ones on PS4 i think.
But ... Seriously a major release for a DLC and a new "environnement" ?
You did better !
Devs can work on other things while mappers are working on thoses new songs.
Your game isn't perfect yet !
Good luck to the BeatSaber team
You can go to YouTube and listen to that song, but that doesn't necessarily make it legal to download it or use it in any other way.
I mean what's the point of having the level called "Expert+" if a casual player like me can complete all levels in one go without breaking a sweat. The only level that made me fail once was "Warriors". I think it's the minimum of what "Expert+" should be.
I find the Monster pack more challenging and entertaining. But in the new pack we don't have anything even close to "Overkill".
Still thank you for your work and for the release.
Ignore the haters that doesn't know how copyright laws work.
And for the haters, enjoy the mods that are there because beat saber attracted a lot of people with interest in making mods this amazing game.
Keep it up!
I wish you could try the songs in game before purchasing, at least be able to play them a couple times, or part of the song, to see if you like them.
Opening up the custom level editor to allow public sharing and rating would solve the level design issues. Then you can buy the songs you like, even if they had original level designs you didn't like, as you could always grab fan made levels later on that made them more enjoyable to play. Hopefully in the future that's a thing.
