What headsets are supported?

Currently we plan to support HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality (via Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR) headsets.

I have a Oculus Rift. Is it possible to run the game without SteamVR wrapper?

Yes! Use -vrmode oculus as a launch option. For going back to SteamVR use -vrmode openvr

Update broke my mods. What should I do?

If you were running mods and are having issues after the update we would like to inform you that all currently available mods are not official (not made by us) so we can't really help you when they stop working and we can't provide much support. It is because every mod right now is more like a hack to the game because Beat Saber never provided a way to be properly moddable like you may know from other games. Please contact authors of your mods to provide the support and please wait until they update them for the current version. We will also try to help with this as much as possible.

I am having issues with tracking

Unfortunately, tracking isn't something we can influence in any way, the accuracy of the tracking depends on the platform and the device and is not connected with the game itself.

I am sure I properly cut the cube but the game says it was a 'bad cut' or 'miss'

We have seen this complaint several times and tried to replicate the situation in order to test it, in all cases, we found out that the player truly missed the note.
There is a chance the player was confused by the trail which follows after the cube, thus it seemed like the cube was cut.
If the game says 'bad cut' or 'miss' it is every time the correct information.

Which song in the game have Content ID turned on?

Music Packs and Extras songs are owned by 3rd party thus this content has Content ID turned on. We respect the decision of the artist and the label in this case. Anyway, you can record OST 1, OST 2, OST 3, OST 4, FitBeat and Rocket League x Monstercat Music Pack without limitations.

Can you add more music genres to the game?

Yes, we are definitely planning to keep adding diverse music genres into Beat Saber so our game stays exciting for everyone and you have a chance to explore something new or play your favorite songs. Stay tuned!

Does Multiplayer allow cross-play?

Multiplayer supports cross-play within the Oculus ecosystem. Currently, this multiplayer does not support cross-play between other platforms, but we’re exploring what’s possible and we hope to support this functionality in future.

Is cross-buy available?

Cross-buy across platforms is not possible, but all players who purchased Beat Saber music packs through the Oculus Store will have all their music packs available as a cross-buy.
