Pause button on Vive Wands not working

In the latest Beat Saber update (1.29.4) when attempting to pause a song with the menu button on a Vive Wand (lighthouse 2.0 hardware version) the game will not pause for me.
I've tried fully deleting the game from my PC (specifically both uninstalling the game from within Steam and also deleting the game folder at /Steam/steamapps/common/Beat Saber) and reinstalling, and this does not work. I'm also running the latest version of SteamVR (1.25.8), and while I have used mods in the past right now there are no mods for the game installed anywhere on my computer (another troubleshooting step I took that did not work).

I have the exact same problem, right now it seems that the only way to pause the game is to press the steam menu button ;-;

The menu button no longer pauses the game for me either, and the system menu button used to bring up the VR Dashboard and pause, but now the game keeps going in the background. The only way for me to exit a beat I can't finish is to exit the game and re-launch it now. Also, the trackpad doesn't work for scrolling the song list any more. This all broke about the same time because it used to work.

I've deleted everything including the windows user profile directory, reinstalled and it is the same way. I know the controller works, but Beat Saber no longer recognizes it. It is so frustrating.

I have the exact same problem.

@CapnBry: I was able to make it pause the game when I bring up the VR dashboard by going into settings and changing the pause setting from "long press" to "instant".

However, the regular menu buttons still do nothing in Beat Saber and I verified with other games that the controllers themselves are working. This is clearly an issue with Beat Saber.

Any updates on this?

This is still an issue. Pause menu won't open at all and the steam overlay button just keeps the game running in the background. If you play in zen mode you're actually just trapped completely unless you quit the game. Super annoying.

Your best option is to revert to the beta build and wait until an update comes out that fixes it.

Bump, issue still present:
HTC Vive Cosmos. When the Unity update occurred, my Menu button is ignored (having to use System Menu button do pause or access menu) and the Thumb pads to not scroll the song list anymore. And my LEDs blink white, which I keep thinking means dead battery but only happens in Beat Sabre. Every other game (Alyx, Amid Evil) works all buttons properly. And I thought the Z-axis being off was just me, but it's off as well.
