Game has a black screen upon start up

The game only shows the white 'beat saber' title.

Any other games work fine, so it's only related to beat saber with the last update.
No mods installed.
Alerdy uninstalled and reinstalled.

I did the file inquiry, only one file was found, but still, didn't work afterward.
I use the valve index headset.

This is also happening to me. People said to verify the game's integrity, I tried it and nothing happened, it just said 1 file missing and will reacquire. When the file that was missing downloaded I checked to see if it was fixed, and it wasn't. I can play any other version fine using a mod manager, but when I play update 1.34.5, I see the Beat Saber logo, then a black screen with no sound and I have no idea what to do. (btw i already uninstalled and reinstalled)

I've checked, i also had one missing file, but it also did nothing.

Oh, if it help, i use a valve index as a headset.

Had the same problem, i needed to move my plugin folder and also reset playlist ( remove again) ... also after the update like all mods are not yet compatible sooo i play just the base game and custom maps... which partly are broken aswell :(

i haven't turned on my vr for maybe a year or two, and just did a couple days ago. every game works perfectly fine, EXCEPT beatsaber which is unfortunate because that was kind of the game i was hoping to get back into. I've tried really every obvious thing, removing plugin folder, deleting game completely and reinstalling, deleting steamvr and reinstalling, restarting computer, nothing will get the game to boot up. there's an initial text that shows up floating but i haven't really been able to read it, its like in an oval outline, then just black screen, let it sit for an hour and still just black screen, no sound or video output on either the headset or monitor. would love to get this fixed just have no idea what else to try. I tried installing it on different drives, thought maybe one of the drives was bad, but still cannot get past that black screen when beatsaber starts. every other vr game i've tried (which is probably like 10 games or so) has worked just fine, its only beatsaber thats giving me the trouble (worked fine 2 years ago but i realize a lot can change in that amount of time). amazing game, would love to get it working again

I deleted the game. Then I manually deleted the game folder and save folder, reinstalled the game - everything worked. Then I restored the save folder - everything still works.
