Crash on Launch in Steam

I've been playing Beat Saber since it came out with occasional issues, but I've been able to fix them anytime they've come up. I recently had to take a break from the game for about 6 months while I moved. I tried to play it again and found that the game wouldn't launch. When I hit the play button on the Steam Page the game launches and gives me a grey version of the game logo ( LINK [imgtr.ee]). Then the game crashes back to desktop. After a few seconds it tries to load again on its own and I see the grey logo, then it crashes again. This repeats over and over until I click the button on the steam page to force the game to stop. Anyone else having this issue? Anything I can do to fix this?

Computer Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz 4.00 GHz
Installed RAM: 16.0 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
VR Headset: Oculus Rift S

Notes:

• I've uninstalled all mods and done a fresh install of the game.
  
• I've updated the game and all graphics drivers.
  
• I've disconnected my second monitor.
  
• I'm playing the game on steam using an Oculus headset, but I can't launch the game from the steam page or the oculus shortcut.
  
• I'm running the game as an administrator
  
• Here's the most interesting part. Just as an experiment I also *bought* the game on the oculus store. When I try to play the game I bought in the oculus store it works fine! Same game, same version (I checked) but one works and one doesn't.

Anyways, any help would be much appreciated!

i have a simmilar problem right now where i just cannot launch the game ... all my other vr games works and for some reason , when i launch beat saber it just put me back to VR home

I have the same probleme. Everytime if i start Beat Saber it will crash on start up.
I have installed the Version legacy_1.29.1_unity_ver2019.4.28f1.

I found the solution for my probleme:
1) delete BSIPA over the Mod Assisant
2) delete Mods over the Mod Assisant
3) instal the Mods over the Mod Assisant
4) start Beat Saber

just as an update to this :

-i removed all mods and launched game in the last version , not working
-i installed 1.29 legacy , crash after the beat saber screen ( getting closer)
-i uninstalled everything , re installed 1.29 , working
-i openned mod assist just to get my maps with noodle extentions back , now it crashes again
-i uninstalled again and re installed 1.29 , crash on launch , either in windowed or VR
-i fcking uninstalled steam VR , re installed all my games and beat saber and now it dosen t load on any parameter or any version of the game

truly happy for the legacy update
some dev fix this instead of doing low tiers map packs

alright update over the update
everything worked out

i just did the above steps over and over and over , and at some point i decided to do all manually
so what is different :
- go to game files and use the uninstall mod thing that looks like a medical syringe
-( here is where i think it fcked up) return to game files and the mods folders n directory are still there , delete the whole game
- uninstall game through steam
- restarted steam and install directlly beatsaber 1.29 legacy
-launch and quit ( if it works , idk)
-use the mod assistant and watch out for the version
- close steam and relaunch everything one by one

if it still fck up idk what to say but ill be glad to figure it out with you if i can help

Thanks for the advice! I'll try that as soon as I can and let you know how it goes!
