Motherboard USB ports: mouse, keyboard, Xbox 360 controller
Powered USB PCIe card: Rift S
and if I use the mobo USB port for the Oculus, it doesn't even get past the sensor check.
I'll try unplugging stuff from all the other USB ports and post how it goes.
I tried unplugging everything (controller, keyboard, mouse) from all USB ports, and the problem was exactly the same - except this time, the position teleport-flickered a bit as well as the rotation teleport-flickering as usual.
I tried the old "unplug both, wait 10s, plug in USB, wait 10s, plug in DisplayPort" trick - exactly the same teleport-flickering.
I tried it in the other powered USB card slot - exactly the same teleport-flickering.
I tried it in a mobo USB 3.0 slot, and I just get the "..." in VR or a red X saying the USB connection isn't working. I can't even get into VR at all.
I went into Device Manager and selected "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all USB devices except my powered USB card and the three "Rift USB Hub" devices. I plugged it into the powered USB card - exactly the same teleport-flickering.
Nothing I do to attempt to save power or bandwidth appears to help.
I noticed a bit of lag-flickering in SteamVR and Space Pirate Trainer as well. It's not exactly the same, and it's nowhere near as bad, but it's worth noting because it means it's not a Beat Saber-specific issue. In SteamVR the position of my left hand and its pointer laser sticks in place for about half a second and doesn't track my movements. In Space Pirate Trainer, my left gun flickers in and out of existence rapidly, like a strobe light.
I wonder if there's a way to roll back the update...
