Beat Saber

Beat Saber

View Stats:
Empty menu screen
The middle screen under the "Beat Saber" sign after the warning screen is just empty (the blue square exists but as I said it's empty). Can't start the game but at least I can see my statistics and read the patchnotes in VR.

Reinstalled everything but still nothing.
Also googled it an hour or two but can't find ANYTHING

Beat Saber is waiting for a valid save file to come back before it progresses to loading the main menu. Something about your save file likely got corrupt. Now because your save file is separate from the actual game data, neither reinstalling nor verifying game contents is going to fix the issue. If you've tried both of those solutions and still get a blank screen, this might help.

Go to:
\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Hyperbolic Magnetism

Clarification edit:
Easiest way to do this is to press Win+R and just copy and paste the address exactly like it's typed above, then press OK. Alternatively you can go into a folder, click an empty space in the address bar and replace the text with the address above. Either way will work the same. The end-goal is just to get you to a directory that Windows has hidden by default.

Note, it needs to be exactly as it's typed above, including the first back slash. Otherwise you'll get an error saying Windows couldn't find the directory. %username% is automatically recognized by Windows as the current user, so literally copy and paste the address above exactly as is and it should work for you.

Now just delete or rename the Beat Saver folder to something else. When you re-enter the game, it'll recreate the save file and load the main menu properly. Enjoy! ^^

Thanks Silver Aura, didn't understand at first but i realized i was supposed to paste this link: \Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Hyperbolic Magnetism

Into the files search bar. And then re-name the "Beat Saber" file into something else! Anyways, thanks again!

I updated my original comment to make it a bit more clear for people who might not be as familiar with directory navigation.

Deleting the folder like @Silver Aura told to, worked, BUT, you will lose ALL your data, the game thinks you are a new player, only your positon on the list of official tracks will be there, everything else GONE!
