Vibration Issues
Hey Guys,

when i first played the game i got a vibration feedback after every cut but now it doesnt seem to work anymore. It only vibrates strange from time to time but it defenitly doesnt feel right.
Does someone else have this issue and know how to fix it?
Already tried to reinstall, recalibrate the sensors, repair the controllers, new batteries and so on.

Playing on Oculus Rift.

Thank you!

Have you tried using the "-vrmode oculus" launch option? Will use the OculusVR API instead of SteamVR.

You'll get an annoying popup when launching from Oculus Home though.

Yes i tried it, it got a bit better with it. It started to vibrate again but still delayed.

So i searched for a similar problem online and found out that the problem was that the Rift was put into an USB 3.1 slot instead of an 3.0 one... I recently switched it caus i read that its better if the different components are plugged into different USB Controller Hosts... well, plugged it back into the USB 3.0 slot and its perfectly fine now.

Hope it helps people with the same or similar problems! :)

Hi. I have the same problem. After update the game, my controllers (oculus touch) can't vibrate. I tried reconnect usb port, but problem has still.

I'm having the issue with my controllers not vibrating when i slice blocks. It first started with my left controller but recently both had stopped. I'm using Mixed Reality btw...

when you go into C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Hyperbolic Magnetism\Beat Saber there is a settings.cfg and settings.cfg.bak file. if you delete both files you reset your settings completly. After the update I had the same problem and this fixed the issue for me.

I had the same issue with my right Oculus controller. The right controller was only vibrating sometimes very faintly when slicing blocks. It didn't vibrate when I put the sabers together or when it touched the large block barriers. The left controller vibrated normally. Definitely threw off my game. I tried deleting the settings.cfg and the settings.cfg.bak file that didn't work on its own, so I changed USB ports for the headset and now it seems to be fine. Before, I had the headset plugged into the same USB card as the sensors. Guess it didn't like that too much.

You can also just go to %appdata%\Local or %appdata%\..\LocalLow (depending on where %appdata% points)
