Let us adjust our height manually

I keep having to squat through songs because the game decides the blocks should be thigh-height for me. Hitting the auto-detect button changes exactly nothing. It would be super great if I could change the height number myself.

You can adjust your height manually. You just have to go to your setting and turn off auto detect height. Then above the auto detect height button there should be a set height button that you can change.

Room adjustment in the main settings menu can also effectively change your height by moving the floor level up or down. I'm not really sure how the player height adjustment works. I'm kind of curious about that, now that I think about it. Does it just set the floor level based on the player's height? Or does it change the spacing of the blocks maybe?

Curious about this myself. A while back, I used to find the boxes a bit too low so I fudged the auto height setting (manual wasn't available then) to make myself "taller". I didn't actually feel any difference in box height though, so I have no idea what it did.

It seems ok these days with my correct height though, so perhaps it wasn't working as it was supposed to back then.

You can choose X, Y, Z, and rotation adjustments in settings.
