Questions about versions and mods.

Hi. I am new to this game. Very late to the party, I know. I am just wondering, is there a preferred game version that has better mod support? Do they have different library of custom tracks? Or is it just to run no longer supported mods?

I've migrated this night from the legacy 1.29 version to the current one (1.404) and almost every mod I used works right. The one I really miss is Shaffuru mod that allows playing multiple tracks as one.

But I needed to waste some time with «EasyOffset» to make «Claws» look correctly. Somehow it worked out of the box in 1.29.

so, you don't miss anything. «claws» are highly recommended, by the way. the tracks library is the same.

upd: all in all, I can't say 1.29 was any worse than the newer one. the difference is minimal to my taste.
