ngl I'm actually quite pissed now. I think I accidentally deleted all my downloaded custom songs while trying to figure out why the game isn't working.
bslegacy(dot)com. (Website is down at the moment, check on it a bit later)
It lets you download previous versions of Beat Saber issue free and it will pack them in separate folders, making Steam unable to affect your files in the "common" folder.
I highly recommend this as you can essentially "quarantine" any Beat Saber version you want without Steam affecting these versions. Whenever you got them, point ModAssistant towards the installed version you chose, and choose your mods from there.
If you want a guide on how to use this launcher, check this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5NUn8_5fOM
I've been using it no issue and never had to wrestle with automatic Beat Saber updates since.
Can I still launch this on a Quest 2 through Steam VR?
If not, how is it accessed through a Quest 2?
Also wouldn't I have to move all of my custom songs and playlists over to that?
I hate how frequent the updates have become because I'm really only playing once every week or two now and it feels like every single time I get my mods back, I'm losing them again. The YUR fit has been busted for me for like two or three months now and still isn't working :T We don't need all these stupid updates.
For your custom playlists and songs, those should be moved to a "linked" folder containing all levels, said folder is accessed by all versions equally. The launcher has an option to create said linked folder.
Let's you downgrade; update mods, etc.

theres also thread on github with same workaround https://github.com/Assistant/ModAssistant/issues/504 (although modassistant itself has nothing to do with mods compatibility)
Hopefully they wont pull out this beta until we have another stable mod release for 1.30.x, I guess unity must have broken lots of stuff as its over month and there no mods past 1.29.1
Somebody so something, the community is begging ya, does meta go after them all or something or people just not willing to make a clone?
With it you can run older versions of the game with the same custom tracks as the up to date version while waiting for mods to update.
