I wish people made maps for good songs
We have all the hits greatest hits everyone knows from the 60' 70's 80's 90's 2000's and all anyone does is make hyper speed obscure anime remix maps, all the thumbnails is an anime girl in a maid outfit, every song, every single song.

Guess I'll just buy the DLC, OH NO WAIT! All the official DLC is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Lizzo and mall rockers.

everything is "hyper speed" because that's just what rhythm games kinda do. People want hard maps, so fast songs mean you can properly map faster.
I understand where you're coming from, though

Yeah but I found them all already. Now I can't find a song I can even read the name of let alone recognize.

Faster does mean harder but it doesn't mean more fun even for expert players. I am very good at Beat Saber, I find hyper speed maps awful in both terms of getting into the beat of the music and just the fun of playing. I far prefer more complex notes at a reasonable speed that fit with the music in a way that makes your body movements in sync with the beat and energy of the song.

Oh well. I just want to get into the music with songs I know and love, not try to impress strangers with how I can wrist flap my way through some hyper weeb electro dubstep remix of an outro song for some maid fanservice anime on crunchyroll.

That's fair. If you like more complex patterns and are good at the game, try Tech maps. Some are still mapped to songs you don't like, but it might be tolerable if you enjoy the patterns more.
Here's an example of a Tech map:

It's one thing to look for certain styles or genres but SPECIFIC SONGS that you already know? At that point you can't expect much unless you want to commission mappers to map these songs for you.

It's super rare for me to find a good map of a song I already listened to and liked outside the game. I just play good maps as well as ranked ones and sometimes I even enjoy the music, despite never having heard the song before. An open mind works best with a game like this.

Not specific songs, just recognizable music people in general know about. When I'm scrolling through entire pages of nothing but thumbnails of some generic anime girl in a full dress with a sun umbrella in a field of sunflowers and the song has a bpm of 12,000, its a bit much.

I don't think there are many songs with 12,000+ BPM...
Also, y'know you can just... search, right? You don't have to scroll thru those pages, you can just search keywords.

use better song search if you aren't already doing so.
Though you can't exclusivley look for tech-maps, you can filter for NJS, NPS and much more while searching.

Here, i think you'll like this playlist.
There's literally no japanese/meme music in it

People map the songs they like for the genres they like at the speeds they like. Popular music tends to be more popular than less popular music. I map out the songs I like, and you haven't gone out and mapped any generic anime girl sunflower hyper weeb electro dubstep fanservice maid music. There are at least a few thousand songs on Beat Saver that I recognize, not counting anything anime related. You could try to expand your horizons like most people would do in these types of situations, becoming more knowledgeable about genres outside of your strictly defined comfort zone, or you could just map the songs yourself and be the change that you want to see. But complaining that every single song comes from someone with musical tastes that you don't approve of illustrates your stance already.
