you need an ok router with decent 5ghz wifi for streaming it to your headset

no you can use airlink have decent wifi or use a USB C type 2 cable i had one that i bought from walmart for my switch works as a decent link cable

Do yourself a favor and get the link, airlink can be touchy even with great wifi

I'd say cable is not required but still better than WIFi. It's more reliable and allow longer game sessions. On the other hand, if you planning to play a lot of 360 levels, may be WIFI will be better.

Don't waste like 80 quid on an oculus link cable, just buy a long usb 3 cable.

Yeah get a 5 meter USB C cable from a third party, kiwi makes some of the best ones, aliexpress has some no brand ones that are good too.

if you wanna play using pcvr, yes if you have a terrible home network setup, otherwise i would recommend you either use virtual desktop or airlink.

I'd absolutely not recommend virtual desktop for beat saber, the tracking is very different from link (probably because it uses Steam VR) with seemingly different prediction on top of the added latency. Air Link has similar tracking to wired Link so it's ok but also has added latency, so for Beat Saber just plug in a cable if you want the best tracking possible. And if you absolutely can't use a cable then Air link is better than VD (for this game)
