Custom Songs
As the title suggests I would like to add some custom songs to Beat Saber, however after trying BeatDrop, Beat Saber Mod Manager, or Mod Assistant, none of them worked. Is there a way to add custom songs manually to the game easily or is it best to use a program?

beat drop can be a little troublesome, but i dont see how mod assistant wouldnt have worked.

are you playing a fresh install?

if so, did you make sure to run the game at least once before running mod assistant?

you can download custom songs manually and just place them in your custom levels folder, you dont need mods for the songs themselves to work any more.

I have a similar problem, got my custom levels in the folder, but it seems like i cant find the custom map folder while in beatsaber, did they recently change it on how it works? I seem to have to custom levels folders, havent played in a long time so dont know if the update broke anything.

Yeah I am playing on a fresh install but I've played it a couple of times before trying to use Mod assistant or beatdrop, appreciate the help though!

You just download them and drop them into Steam\steamapps\common\Beat Saber\Beat Saber_Data\CustomLevels

did you verify the download location was in the same place as the executable?

Mod Assistant is the best. But you don't need it if all you want is songs. Just put song folders in Beat Saber\Beat Saber_Data\CustomLevels\. Also the custom maps button on the menu is now hidden under a scroll button, since there's another OST volume there now.
