Odd issue with "open VR"
Ok before I even start with what is wrong...
I have reinstalled Beat Saber, Steam VR, and Oculus, and it still does not work

I open Steam VR, click Beat Saber, and it I get the Black void with the Logo, it flickers out, then kicks me back to the steamVR menu, saying that it is trying to launch with the argument "-vrmode openvr", when I click yes, it tries to load Beat Saber again and fails.

When I go to the dev section of the options, it says that the mode selected is Steam VR, and wont let me change it.

If you're using an Oculus headset then you should be using -vrmode oculus

i think

Steamvr = openvr, there is no point in adding this command to launch game bought on steam.

If you are on oculus then as BubbleheadGX mentioned, you should go with -vrmode oculus, unless you rely on other apps using steamvr simultaneously, e.g. LIV.

thats the funny part, I did not add the command, I never touched Beat Saber other then installing mods, and I even did a fresh install of BS to see if that was the problem and it still threw up the error

fixed it, had to do with steamworks, that got messed up some how.
also a side note, for at least Beat Saber, it seems the launch argument "-vrmode openvr" is set by default when installed

Obviously. Just keep with Oculus mode further on, it's better experience, trust me on this.
