What is the easiest level to get an SS rank on Expert (for the achievement)? and what is the approximate score needed? From the base game.

don't know since the game tries to stop me from doing so,

120% in practice on an Expert+ level got through it easy,

normal mode 100% then the game doesn't let ya

also actual advice for starting out if you think you can do hard levels go one stage up to expert,

when I started playing for the first time I started on hard since, vr isn't difficult to use and I wanted a challenge,

my problem is that I'm on expert+, can do most songs but because of difficulty limitations, I can't beat Expert+ SS, hence custom songs help to lower the difficulty on base game songs by improving your own skill

Oh, I don't have issue beating the levels on Expert. The problem is, I've beaten 15 expert levels with full combo, and that only gives me an S rank. Unsure if I'm just not hitting the blocks hard enough or what's wrong...

score is based on the degree of the swing which can net 100 points and how close you got to the center of the block with your swing 15 points so the only thing you can do is just keep trying to improve those 2 things until you start hitting SS rank on songs

^^ that, if you FC with not an SS you are not swinging correctly.

I'd recommend to watch whole BSRA series to understand on what to focus from very beginning.

I was talking about Expert+ levels, I'm mostly wanting to beat them rather than trying to get the best score,most of them have S and A ranks but then some I've been trying at for a while and I'm almost there with them as well

you ever get that feeling when you get past a difficult bit but then mess up on an easy after bit because you got excited that you beat that last section and then lost focus

I usually laugh because I know I'm able to get through it and then I try again and make errors before that section even comes up, but hey I usually laugh it off because I've got it DOWN

Can't look at my combo score for this very reason. when i see 200-300 combo i'm like "♥♥♥♥ yeah im a god" then i screw up missing the easiest block ever

I'm using FocusMod for similar reason. Any distraction indeed may break the flow.. and this is the rhythm game after all, flow is important :)
