If only the base game existed then yeah $10. Except there's mods and multiplayer that are supported and make it worth the $30.

The DLC is a complete rip-off though. Hell most of the beatmaps are worse then the free ones that were made.
If you need mods to make a game good it's not a good game.

Can't hear you over my 280 hours of Beat Saber and over 400 hours of Skyrim.

Can't agree with that. Mods are not just about finishing an unfinished game, they're about customizing and enhancing it. Mods for games are like furniture for apartments. Of course you can live with that's in the apartment, but you can individualize it with whatever you want.

That's why mod support is always a nice thing in a game. You don't have to use it, but you can.
30$ is a reasonable price imo because you get 3 packs OST, 2 Other free packs, a campaign, multiplayer, custom songs, the ability to mod the game, etc.
its well worth the $30 price tag
Should be 900.99$ imo
Should by subscription with payment to music rights owners, so we can finally enjoy official support of custom songs and full collaboration with modders.
Well that is easy for you to say Roger when you don't even own the game, maybe if you did you'd see it has tonnes of replay value and it worth more than the asking price
BRUH wdym, this is the perfect price for this masterpiece of a game. Get over yourself.
For all the time I'm going to put into this game it isn't expensive..

yeah without mods and with no dlc 10-15$ should be the asking price. If it had steam workshop support and all the dlc was added in the current price would be fine.

What hurts it most of all is no workshop support so mods break far easier than most games which is sad because beat saber with no mods is a pretty bland experience after 2 hours. I can only imagine its a really small studio or something and their margins are super thin. That and possibly want to stay distanced legally to mods to avoid angering music liscensors.

That would explain the stark blandness of it all and their "seemingly unwanted avoidance" of mods.
Let's not forget Guitar Hero and Rockband games had cost $60, had about 4-6 songs per chapter and about 7 chapters (about 35 songs). BeatSaber is $30, has 6+ songs per their 5 chapters (about 30 songs) so asking $30, being half the price with almost all the songs plus mod support on a platform still in its infancy and does need our support to help it grow isn't that far-fetched and unreasonable.

I played a "demo" version initially because I wasn't sure it would be worth it either and wanted to find out, so I get your sentiment, but after plugging in about 80 hours BEFORE mods, I bought it to give them the money they deserved from my playtime and I still have a blast and know I will play it more later. I still return to the Official songs and play with some customs songs now.

The official music is a bit of an acquired taste though.
