bought on steam but wondering if i can get an oculus code?
Sold my PC VR headset for the new oculus quest 2. Any chance I can get an oculus code?

I doubt it, but you can use the native Oculus SDK mode with the Steam version of Beat Saber by using the launch command:
-vrmode oculus

This starts Beat Saber by itself (no SteamVR), and should work native with any Oculus headset.

If it was an original Rift CV1, the tether cable breaking is expensive to replace potentially since they aren't manufactured anymore. I have a CV1 and I plan on going to a Quest 2.

exactly this sold a pc vr headset for a mobile vr headset oculus is well and truly dead at this point with cheap headsets that break, my brothers headset didnt even last 4months and when playing games it was like there was an earthquake going on. oculus is a closed platform to by the way so its not advancing any time soon

You can still play SteamVR with Virtual Desktop(You buy on the Oculus store, not Steam) and play beatsaber with no lag and no wires like you can with the original Quest. You can even play your SteamVR games through Virtual Desktop while away from your computer as long as you have decent upload speed where you are for crisp visuals. I've been doing this with my Quest and it's great.
