Mod Assistant not working

I just download Mod assistant and updated it to 1.6 but there is no mod list in the menu but there is a mod setting. Help?

I was having a similar issue, turns out windows defender was blocking IPA from running correctly so Mod Assistant couldn't install the latest version. Look for the IPA program in your beat saber directory, run it, when windows defender complains click "more info" (or something like that) then click run anyway. Once it has done its thing load into Mod Assistant and it should be able to install everything properly.

halp its broke for me too and i tried running ipa.exe with admin, i tried allowing it through defender, i tried running modassistant in admin, i tried alot of things, nothing works, would i lose songs sabers and avatars if i reinstalled the game?

Move your custom folders to your desktop. Uninstall the game. Re-install the game. Run the game. Close it out. Update to the current version on mod assistant. Run the game. Close it. Put your custom folders back.

Doing that will give the custom songs you've had back and you'll be able to add new ones manually. The search feature in game is broken right now. Gotta wait for someone to fix it.

Install the newest IPA on your folder with just drag and drop. Then try to start it. My defender removed it then. After making a bypass (because its a exploit for the game) and trying to open the IPA again, it worked. Now you only need to install the mods from the modassistant and it should work!

What I did was uninstall Beat Saber and reinstall it again. Please make sure you back up your custom songs and such before you do this

I have the same problem with Mod assistant. I have done everything that is mentioned, and it still doesn't work. I even removed and uninstalled everything from both programs, and still nothing :(. The problems already started in December, but is it possible that Beatsaber did something to block the program perhaps?

Under "\Steam\steamapps\common\Beat Saber\Beat Saber_Data\Managed\IPA.Injector.dll" the last one is missing for me, I'll see if I can download that specific dll from github

once nothing helped so i had to delete beat saber files from appdata and that fixed it but you lose your gameplay data
