How to play beatsaber beatmaps without VR?
Maybe I can make beatsaber work without VR or maybe another game supports beatsaber beatmaps, or convert beatsaber maps to maps for a non vr game

Your statement tells pretty much everyone you obviously dont own a VR rig......save your money and buy a used one.
I don't need gameplay, I need to open the beatsaber beatmap

Not sure about songs included with the game but you can view maps for custom songs on bsaber.com without opening the game.

You can open the game without a headset and view the game on your monitor but I dont know of a way to simulate the controllers so you'd simply be stuck looking at the menu screen.

Dodging is a good point, I don't know how to dodge, I suppose you could map camera controls to other mouse buttons. I would still play the game even with limited ability to dodge.
So your main argument is that the game would be different. I never stated otherwise, and I don't see anything wrong with the game being different. Different does necessarily not mean not enjoyable. There are android clones of beatsaber, and they are quite playable.
I checked audika, it is very similar to osu, and it is 2D, apart from the 3D animations, yet there is a beatsaber to audika converter.
If it's a completely different game, what's the point in converting it??? What exactly are you trying to argue here?? We have all been telling you that it would be a completely different game so converting it would serve no purpose. It feels like you are trying to argue that a different game can be made. Literally no one is saying that isn't possible. We are saying it wouldn't be the same. What exactly is the point of creating a brand new game and saying it's like Beat Saber? It wouldn't be Beat Saber so the only point of saying it's like Beat Saber would be to get people that have actually played Beat Saber to try that game. You have all these people that have ACTUALLY played Beat Saber trying to tell you, who HASN'T played Beat Saber, that converting it to 2D would serve no purpose as it would be a completely different game. So, again, what are you trying to argue here? That converting a game into a completely different game is possible?? No one thinks that isn't possible. We just know that it wouldn't be the same game or even that similar.

Edit: And yes, the main argument ALL of us have been trying to get you to understand, mostly using analogies, was that it would be a different game and, as such, serves no purpose when dealing with Beat Saber. Audica and OSU are similar games but I can guarantee that no one would say they are the same thing. Taking VR out of VR serves no purpose as it's no longer the same thing. Here is an analogy that might help. It's equivalent to comparing the experiences between someone who rode a particular roller coaster and someone who watched a go-pro video of that same roller coaster. Obviously you could create go-pro videos of roller coasters but no one would say they were similar to actually riding the roller coaster. I can guarantee that there are people that would enjoy just watching the videos but I'm fairly certain even they would agree it isn't the same thing.
I would argue while it wouldn't be identical, it would be very similar, or at least the same genre. In VR you have to swing your hands to the rhythm to slice notes, without VR you are doing the same thing with mouse or stylus on drawing pad. You are loosing the VR part where you can use your hands, it does make the game different, but the idea is the same, the game is still enjoyable. There are no other games where you can slice notes, and I want to try a a game like that, that is the point.
When it comes to converting, obviously it will be different because you are literally converting to a different game, it seems to me that people were arguing exactly that it is physically impossible.

No one was saying that it was impossible. Every analogy was used to show that it would be completely different. No one was saying it was physically impossible to convert it, either. Again it was just pointing out that it would be completely different. That has been the entire point we were trying to get you to understand for this whole thread. Slicing notes with a stylus or mouse would be closer to Fruit Ninja before it came out for VR. It's similar in practice but conveys a completely different feel. Guitar Hero is a rhythm game just like DDR but, obviously, it has a completely different feel to it. That is what every analogy I have used was trying to convey.

Yes it is because it would be a completely different game. Good god. You literally just agreed with me twice that it would be a completely different game. You are literally better off asking to play a NEW game that is kind of like Beat Saber. There is a huge difference between those two questions. One is pointless, the other is normal. One implies changing something to something completely different. The other implies you want to play a game kind of like Beat Saber.

I am a bit confused now. Which question is pointless? What I asked for is playing beat saber without VR, regardless of whether it is similar or not. Is it a pointless question?

I think my arguments are very clear are never directed at someone. You are dismissing my arguments by calling me a troll, that is a very clear ad hominem fallacy

I thought it was obvious which one is pointless as I answered the question in the first sentence. VR in Beat Saber is a CORE part of the game. It isn't a feature. It isn't a gimmick. It is a part of the core of the game. You want to remove that core and play whatever results from that. Imagine going to a game's forums and asking to play a different game. That doesn't make sense. Why would you go to Grim Dawn's forums and ask to play Torchlight 2? That's what you are doing when you say you want to play Beat Saber without VR. You are saying you want to play a different game. That is pointless. Go to any game and ask to play that game without a core feature and people will just question as to why you would want to do that. They'll tell you to go play this or that game instead. If you, however, say you want to play a game LIKE Beat Saber, or any other game, people will be more than happy to tell you other games like it.

My point is that beat saber without VR is a game which allows you to slash squares to the rhytm with a mouse. I would like to play that game.
It is pointless to ask Grim Dawn's forum to play torchlight, because you can just play torchlight. The answer to this question would be to play torchlight.
It is not pointless to ask to play beatsaber without VR, because there are no other games like beatsaber without VR

Which is EXACTLY why I said asking to play a game LIKE Beat Saber is better than asking to play Beat Saber without VR. I've already explained how those two questions differ. No one is going to spend the time making Beat Saber, Audica, Audioshield, or any other VR based rhythm game, without the VR. It would, as has been explained and as you have already agreed, be a completely different game. It wouldn't be a simple mod. It would be a completely new game. You're asking people, most of whom have no way to make their own games, to make a new game for you to play. How do you not see the difference between asking people to make a new game for you and asking about games like this one??? That is why it's pointless to ask to play Beat Saber, or any game with VR as a core aspect, without VR.

So how should I word my question? "How do I play a game like beat saber without VR?"? But how do I specify that by "game like beatsaber" I mean beatsaber without VR itself?
I think this is a confusing way to word the question. Why can't you just ask if the game is playable without VR? Like if I asked that on half life alyx forums, I would get the answer with the link to something like Half-Life-Alyx-novr. It differs from half life VR, but by asking the question I do not imply that I want to play an identical game. In this thread I never said that I want to play a game identical to beat saber VR

"Are there games like Beat Saber that don't require VR?" People will obviously understand that you are asking because you want to play a game that's like Beat Saber but without VR. For example, if you went to Audica forum's and asked "Are there games like Audica that don't require VR?", you would get answers like OSU, Elite Beat Agents, Osu! Tatakae! Ouenda, or it's sequel.
If you asked to play Audica without VR, they would probably ask why and say that's just OSU.

Half-Life: Alyx is a poor example as, from what I know of the game, the VR parts are more gimmicks/features, like in No Man's Sky. The VR isn't a core aspect of the game in that it would be just another FPS game without it. Beat Saber without VR is a completely different game as the VR is a core aspect of the game. That's the difference that matters. VR is required for Beat Saber to be Beat Saber. It's not required for No Man's Sky, Skyrim VR, Half-Life: Alyx, or any game where it's just an additional part of the game.
