How to improve accuracy?
What do you guys suggest I do to improve my accuracy because after a total of 26 hours of actual play time on expert and e+ songs i will frequently hit notes wrong (block says swipe left, i swipe left and cut it wrong). I also, and i ♥♥♥♥ you not, always miss notes that i have to reach far for. like notes that are placed in the top corners but then 7/10 times ill miss the notes that are on the far sides. its like my arms length is 4 inches shorter than what the game is expecting and its honestly getting increasingly frustrating.

Did you try standing half a step before the marker, or behind, to adjust in case it's your timing that is to late or too early?

Regarding the arms reach, what did you configure as your height? I don't know how smart this is, but if you tell it you are smaller, maybe it figures your arms are also shorter?

I have long arms and I also miss the outer-most notes more often than inner, but I think it's rather my timing being late.

Did you do the in-game Campaign mode? There is one that you can only pass if you move your arms as little as possible, and it still gives you credit for hitting the notes with a wrist movement. Makes me think it must have a lot of leeway.

Hmm, before i do anything i always look down to make sure my feet are inside the feet marks. I am 180 cm tall and have that set in the settings. i might try making myself shorter though lol. it could also be im swinging too fast, after all i find the most enjoyment in ones where i have to swing fast so it may be that im expecting it to be fast and i also beat the campaign.

I remember hearing that the locations of the blocks are determined based on your headset location, such that the songs don't feel off if you're standing too far forwards or backwards.

If anyone needs to adjust for timing, there's a panel in the settings menu that lets you change the audio delay. It's meant to compensate for an audio or video delay, but in practice all it really does is move the blocks forwards or backwards in relation to where you're standing. It might also mess with lighting, but I always leave that off anyway.

Accuracy is usually tied to how you use the controllers. I had the least problems with the basic Vive wands, they cut exactly how I felt they should when I was making any angle possible. It just felt the most intuitive. When I switched to Index controllers, I had problems with a few angles at the start, the sabers didn't cut at the angle I felt they should. So I had to adjust and practice the movements until I got new muscle memory. I had the most problems with Oculus quest controllers, mainly because I use a claw grip with them. Diagonals were really hard to do since the angle was way off. It took me hours of practice to get used to it. And yes, the farthest notes are the hardest since a small angle difference is not a big deal if the note is near you, but it can easily lead to a miss if you reach far away.

So, practice the movements until the sabers cut exactly like they should. It's usually just about getting used to the controllers. If you've been playing the game for some time already and got used to your current movements that, as you say, are not accurate, you'll need some time to overwrite the muscle memory.
