Is this what current music sounds like?

I'm just wondering. I've haven't listened to current music since... well never actually, i don't watch TV and don't listen to music radio stations. To me, the OST of Beat saber sounds mostly like fart noises. I don't mean that in the sense "i don't like it so it's just noise to me", but that it's actually mostly fart noises in rythm. Is this what the youth dances to nowadays?

This is definitely not what all current music sounds like. This is just one genre of current music which is especially suited for rhythm games since it features clear rhythms and simpler melodies.

Some people like this kind, some don't. I enjoy it because I like it for the technical background of it all.

Totally works in Beat Saber if mapped right.

Beat Saber's default music packs are great for the game, there are also custom songs you can add via modding.
