Okay so what graphic card do you need for 1.8 render scalling?
I have Valve Index and RTX 2080 Super, and Nvidia just does automaticaly increase it to 1.8 but when it does, my Beat Sabber goes into 3 FPS mode, anyone have same experience or is there something wrong with my settup? (Also before you start rattling for CPU and such its i9-9900k and 32GB of RAM)

Anyone please?

I have an Index as well. Why do you need 1.8 scaling? What is the benefit supposed to be?

you might wanna check if you're running both steamVR super sampling and the game super sampling stacked.

Nvidia Sets it up on auto, and there is no settings in Beatsaber to change it back. So i have to do it manually trough invidia panel.

And where can find it out dear sir? And does it not mess up my other games? I believe my settings for VR changed automatically as i switched from 1070 to 2080S

in the steamVR application settings you can set the SS for all games, or a different one for each individual one.

and then in beat saber in the settings there is also a render scale setting.

Yes but its unaccesible when it lags like 2 FPS second. I will set it up trough VR settings! Thank you man!

There is a setting in Nvidia GeForce Experience that is called something like “Automatically Optimize Games”. if this is on, it will change a bunch of game-related settings according to its own inscrutable wisdom, including Super Sampling (called Render Scaling for Nvidia).

I suggest you turn that “feature” off, as you are the best judge as to which settings give you best gameplay, especially in VR.

It worked excelent in 99% of times for me. Even at times where i wanted to tune graphics around, i optimized it trough this and it worked much better then my manual plays with settings, so i tend to keep it on.
