Should I pick up headphones/earphones?
Since my headset doesn't have built-in earphones (Lenovo Explorer), I'm kind of wondering if that's something I need for this game.

Maybe there's some really good, and lightweight earphone that uses bluetooth? If one of you can recommend something like that, which isn't too expensive, I'd appreciate the advice.

Or maybe I should just stick with the good ol' soundbar in my tv? It won't be as immersive....but it will be cheaper for me! What would you do, in my place?

Do you have a pair that you like to use, Brian?
I don't use our Lenovo (when my daughter uses it, she uses her regular headphones for her laptop). I usually play Vive with Deluxe Audio Strap for it or Samsung which has built in headphones and mic.

Any headphones will work fine

Oh ok. Brian has money available for a set up than I will. XD
Just use your regular headphones or even earbuds to start out. If you like your current headphones then they will be fine.

I would definately recommend using headphones/earbuds when playing beat saber due to immersion. From personal experience I would recommend using wireless headphones/earbuds cause when you're in the later/high level difficulty songs you may hit the wire connecting to your PC like I have many times xD

i think you definitely want some sort of headset, but headphones or earpods could work fine too if you got them.

if you're going to buy something though, you should think about buying a decent headset, it will be good for not just beat saber but other VR games, as well as giving you a microphone for multiplayer games.

using speakers for VR will give you poor immersion, and if you are not facing the proper direction and standing in the right place, you wont have any sterio audio either.

the nice thing about a headset for VR is, no matter where you look or move, the audio remains centered on your location.

i believe your headset has an audio jack built into it, so you can buy a wired headset.

I have a communication headset, Chaunsey. I use it to talk to friends on Discord all the time. But I would imagine that combining my Lenovo, plus a big headset together on my head would become uncomfortable rather quickly. Who knows if the headset would even fit over the VR!

But you say the Lenovo has an audio jack built into it? That could be the solution! I have a small pair of earbuds already! Perhaps I had nothing to worry about after all...

Free shipping from Amazon is taking longer than I'd like, My headset still isn't here. Didn't even get shipped until fricking yesterday! But it should be here really, really soon. Then I can finally test all of this for myself and see how it's gonna go.
