as a big guy myself, im actually quite surprised how well i can do at this game, i dont expect to be showing up on the top charts or anything, but i figured i'd just play for fun some on lower difficulties when i bought it, but im FCing some songs on expert and able to atleast complete some expert+ songs, if you keep at it you can get really good at this game.
i dunno if im losing weight playing, id probably have to start dieting as well...
but when playing a video game suddenly becomes a physically active activity that can only be good either way.
i do play long sessions though, im a big mofo, but my arms are built for work so i'll usually do 1-2 hours, i actually played over 3 hours the other night.
im sure there is going to be a lot added in the future, the game was built by a tiny team, but has seen huge success, and is about to release on psvr which will sell like hotcakes if it works well on that platform, similar to how the old wii fit stuff sold like crazy.
once thats behind them there is a ton they can do.
they're already working on multiplayer, which sounds like it could be a ton of fun.
maybe ill see you ingame then once that comes along.

I hope your story goes on to inspire others to give it a bash.
I've had a few "you're looking less fat" compliments since starting playing too (my friends are harsh) but I just love saying that I managed to lose some weight playing my computer games!
I wish you all the best on your journey and would be interested to hear of future updates.
If you want to reach out to a bigger audience, you could try dropping your story on Reddit. I'm sure there's lots of people who'd benefit from seeing what's possible when you set your mind to it.
Good luck.
If you're looking for more VR fitness games, I can recommend Thrill of the Fight boxing as it's extremely tiring:

And if you really want to punish yourself, there's always Hot Squats:

I don't partake in the latter as I have a broken back but perhaps you can find a use for it:D
Well done OP, keep it up. ;)
I just bought it and i really enjoyed those first 90 mins there, love it.
