It might be just my ego being curshed <.< (had #1 on ducktales for a while just to be overtaken by an ridiculous amount of over 5k or something)
And that song has just 162 blocks so if you look at other songs that have say around blocks 800 a difference of 5k is less than one point per block. So in a lot of cases being just a bit better results in a big gap in score.
after checking it's actually 7k. and getting to where i am atm already took so much training, i have no idea how to improve on that, I usually land somewhere around 115k, so the 119k i have on the score is already a super well score for myself. so i think im just gonna not care anymore and just play for the fun of it. might make another attempt in the future
The original method to play custom tracks was replacing original audios and maps and if I remember correctly those scores were uploaded for the song you replaced. So it definitely is possible to do it and some of the scores above the maximum that's possible are probably a result of custom tracks not cheating on purpose.
I just skimmed through, but this video is about people cheating on an external leaderboard and maps that didn't even exist yet with mods and tools that didn't exist yet when the thread was opened.
