(Take rating and comments with a grain of salt)
And yes, there really needs to be some better rating system for this.
Anyway, there are most definitely a lot of great songs out there already - my current local song folder rocks a whole 64 songs that I really enjoy playing. So yeah
Maybe once there is Steam Workshop support (assuming that is how they will decide to distribut custom tracks) then good ones can be voted up and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones can be voted down to try to filter down the ♥♥♥♥ and make the good ones stand out a bit more, that of course is assuming people will vote up or down based on the level design of the song made and not the song itself because a great song can have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ level design and bad to play while a crappy song can have great level design making you want to play it even though you dont care for the song.
So hopefully they add in Steam workshop support sooner rather then later seeing as there are already a ton of custom songs but there is a total lack of being able to filter out the good and bad ones.
edit:
Already found some great songs and working my way down your list. Thank u very much. Feel free to post here again when u have more songs on the list :-)

okay

This is a rhythm game, so I kinda expect maps to be on-beat as otherwise it'd ruin the fun.
At least for me "in-sync" / "on-beat" is the biggest factor with songs.
