Huge fps drop at the start of songs

The game worked perfectly fine before with no problems. Then when OST 3 dropped and I go to check it out whenever I start a song there is this huge fps drop and input lag and depending ont he song will fail it before I can even begin. Anyone else having these issues?

Yup, got a gtx 1070 and now the game ♥♥♥♥♥ the bed during intense parts of songs.
It only works fine on lowest settings now which is ofc ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I am having the same problem. The FPS just tanks entirely until several seconds have passed. It is also causing the room scale to get skewed. When the FPS stops ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ itself, the ingame floor marker is no longer aligned with my Steam VR guide lines.

it runs like crap for me especially at the start of songs - setting super sampling to 1.0 kinda fixes it

I sure hope this gets worked out. I'm actually willing to downgrade to the previous version if I can. Its ok if I lose the new OST because there are so many custom songs.

1080TI with issues checking in. It's not unplayable for me, but there is weird stuttering that happens randomly and it messes up my rhythm.

Having issues since update too.

Getting lag / stutter on every song I play (official and custom) and crashes after exiting (".exe has stopped working" message).

This happens both with and without mods, even after uninstalling and deleting all files and reinstalling.

i can't even start a level now. it drops to about 1 frame per 2 seconds at the start of a song and just immediately fails.

Had issues with mine and i found the resolution scaling was set at 1.8x, changed it to 1.2 and it was silky smooth again

had similar things happen in various updates. for me it was inconsistent af and seemed to stem from how steamVR was handling resolution in some way.

Try lowering your SS until you don't have these issues anymore. afaik this doesn't actually "seem" to be a beatsaber issue, which might seem weird but i've also had similar issues inside steam home, so idk

Lagging at the start has always happened. If you use mods, there is a mod someone made to delay the song starting by like 2 seconds to let the start lag pass. Works great when I last used it.

this update broke all the mods and its gonna take a while for them to work again cause everything changed so much

Steam really needs to add a option to allow the steam users to not update their games, and moreso if a single player game is working great and all these updates do are to continue to break the game........
