Why does the sign say "Hit RED button when see Orange Jumpsuit."?

i dont know but it could possibly mean a test subject is running away

Cuz in this times of aperture they were taking hobos as test subjects (aperture had gone bankrupt due to the competition from black mesa and bad management from Cave), and Cave Johnson has a very low opinion of them (dont loiter, dont touch the glass), that sign is placed in a management area, not a test area, were the test subjects should not be. So he placed alarms in case someone saw any stray hobo (he though maybe they would want to sneak in and sleep/steal/touch-the-glass). :P
